How the Kimono rental works

: Phone us at 075-561-9410 or make a reservation for the day of your choice by the e-mail from our website. For group reservations see here

: We will have everything ready according to the number of people before your arrival.

: You may choose one Kimono Rental Plan from Yumekyoto’s selection of ¥3,000 Plan, ¥4,000 Plan or ¥5,000 Plan.
There are hair set plan, hotel return plan and other optional plans. Please contact us for more information.

: Choose the beat Kimono for you out of a wide selection. If you are not familiar with kimonos our staff will be happy to assist you with finding the best Kimono for you.

: A well experienced professional kimono dresser will dress you in a way that the Kimono is less likely to lose shape or be uncomfortable.

: A professional stylist will give you the best hair style for the kimono of your choice. Using the sample photographs, we will find the best hair style for you together. For those who have used the hair set plan, the hair ornaments rental is free.

: You are now ready! Go and enjoy the city of Kyoto however you like wearing Kimono.

: Please return to Yumekyoto by 6:00 pm of that day.

There is an optional plan where it is possible to go back to your accommodation wearing the Kimono.

This is the effort of the regional government Chamber of Commerce and Kimono Industry Affiliation to create a city in which people wearing kimono can get around easily. Only those who have used the particular facilities for shopping or meals while wearing kimono and has shown the Kyoto Kimono Passport may benefit from this feature.
